This horse is full of beautiful color, and is galloping into a world of more beautiful color, but can't quite see it all yet.  I originally put the black on to highlight the pinks, oranges, and yellows on the horse, but it had the effect (as paint usually does) of replicating exactly how I was feeling.  It was a time of huge transition for me, where I had put a lot of things in place and yet was still a little uncertain of what lay ahead.  For me, this piece is a positive reminder that I can't always see all of my own best parts, or what is just ahead.  It's important to trust and keep going. 
Goes great with black furniture.  I have it hanging above my black couch with multicolored pillows as I write this.
